When there is no decoration to catch the eye, all the weight falls on the line and the fit, which is why every dress is corrected on you at the fittings until it falls as it should.

In a heavily decorated wedding dress, the decoration hides everything: a seam that does not sit right, a fabric that puffs up, a line that does not follow the body.
In a simple wedding dress there is nowhere to hide. What remains is the fabric, the cut and the fit. A silk dress that falls right needs nothing else.
How we work the line
Every piece is cut on the bias or on the straight grain, depending on how we want it to fall, and is adapted to your own body.
The same design can be made with an open or closed back, with or without straps, midi or maxi. Its identity does not change, only its proportion on you.
Where to wear it
They work anywhere, but they stand out at a civil wedding, a summer ceremony or a wedding far from the city.
They are also the only ones with a real life after the wedding: a simple silk dress can be worn again, a princess gown cannot.
Greek silk from Soufli
We work only with silk produced in Soufli. It has weight, drape and a sheen that never shouts, and it is the reason a design with no details can look expensive.

What is a simple wedding dress?
A wedding dress with clean lines and no decoration: no lace, embroidery, rhinestones or heavy trains. The interest lies in the fabric and the fit, not in what is added on top.
Which fabrics are used?
In ours, only 100% Greek silk from Soufli. Natural silk has weight and drape, with a sheen that never shouts. The same design in a synthetic fabric stands stiff and looks like an evening dress rather than a wedding dress. We explain the difference in silk or satin for your wedding dress.
What kind of wedding do they suit?
A civil wedding, a ceremony on an island or in a courtyard, a hot summer wedding, and any occasion where the bride wants to recognize herself. In a formal church with many guests, the scale of the space usually calls for scale in the dress too.
What does the cost depend on?
On the amount of fabric, the type of silk, the complexity of the pattern and the hours of sewing. A simple design does not automatically mean a lower cost. We go through the factors in how much a wedding dress costs in Greece.
Can I wear it again?
A long dress with a train does not get worn again, however simple it is. If that really matters to you, see the two-piece bridal separates: the skirt and the top also work separately, with other clothes.
